Pakistan’s National AI Policy

Developed by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT); approved by the Federal Cabinet on July 30, 2025

Contributed to the consultations on Pakistan’s draft National Artificial Intelligence Policy through the multi-stakeholder dialogue “AI for Humanity: Ethical and Inclusive AI in Pakistan,” hosted by the National School of Public Policy in collaboration with UNESCO in Lahore on 8 July 2025. The dialogue’s policy insights were fed into the national consultations shaping Pakistan’s AI governance framework.
